problems of Indians are versatile (1). They have semi conditions (2) and live in poverty. The very phrase (3) "indigenous" ignores the linguistic and cultural differences between various groups.People mix / generalize all Indians. In addition the term Indian has received a negative connotation and marginalizes indigenous, because people only important if you are an Indian or not. The groups did not accept them as individuals and do not want to take your identity. One reason is the economy, which is influenced of Commendation (4) in the history of Latin America.
Due to the marginalization of indigenous peoples in most cases have a permanent job or are unemployed and do not earn enough money to feed their families. It is a vicious circle of poverty, while there are captivating (5)
poor families are often large with many children. Thus the infant mortality rate is high for the poor medical care. The other children have to work and therefore they do not get an education. So many are illiterate and do not suck after enriching work (6). Other problems are lack of human rights, education, identity and the lack of information of diseases eg AIDS.
One solution would be free education to inform people of the misery. People need to be informed and helped put human rights needs (7). Another solution would be to preserve the identity of culture, language, traditions, religion and education of the various indigenous groups and inform people to avoid marginalization

is very important to note that the Indians are willing to coexist with other populations. what they want is just to continue living according to their identity. among them is a huge cultural and linguistic richness that sometimes has not been respected because of the unifying tedencias states. Indian term itself .. ignores their linguistic and cultural differences .. and groups them all under one classification regardless of their diversity of languages, customs and beliefs. Furthermore, the term Indian has acquired a pejorative connotation that makes them avoid declared as such, opting for more subtle term "farmer", as in Bolivia or Peru. as consecuencua, many, fear of rejection, do not want to assume their identity and are ashamed of their roots. the situation hinders accurate census of its members and as a result, and also difficult to assess accurately the performance of their basic rights. currently self-identify as indigenous is one of the main criteria to define quen is and who is not. this has served to reinforce the values of the people themselves, because when Reconco as such, they take their roots and identity. has increasingly natives who proudly declare they are and they want to join together again and fight for their rights. the case of adolescent groups in Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico and others, organizing sporting events and parties for assessing the culture and traditional customs. in Bolivia, for example, from 30 years ago that demonstrations are artistic and folk dance festivals that attract university students and tourists from around the country. in Peru, in some youth festivals roch music is sung in the Quechua language giving value to this ancestral language. all these are ways of acting to maintain the identity and strengthen the integration among peoples.

One of the most controversial figures of the Spanish conquest is the woman known as La Malinche or Dona Marina (ca. 1500-1527), who exemplifies the importance of interpreters in the course of history. Of noble family, La Malinche was enslaved, became interpreter and confidence in the person of Spanish explorer Hernan Cortes, who had a son. Some see it as the traitor of the Aztecs, while others consider it a scapegoat for the failure of Moctezuma, who was unable to defend his kingdom. Marina was born in a noble family in the province of Paynalla in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz in the region of southern Mexico. When his father died, her mother re-married and gave birth to a male. While Marina was the legitimate heir and eldest daughter, her mother and stepfather favored the new baby. And for the new stem was sole heir, her mother gave away or sold as slaves and declared dead. Before becoming the property of the cacique of Tabasco, Marina went into captivity from his native region to the Nahuatl-speaking regions speaking Maya in Yucatan, where he learned the language. During this time, Hernán Cortés had come from Cuba to the coast of Tabasco with his interpreter, Jeronimo de Aguilar, who had learned the Maya after the wreck, to be enslaved by the Mayans of Yucatan and later rescued by the Spanish. Having taken the decision to seek favors from the Spaniards, instead of fighting them, the Maya offered them food, clothing, gold and slaves, including 20 women. Aguilar, who was also ordained as a priest and served as interpreter helped in the conversion of the Maya. Women, including Marina, were baptized in March 1519. Unknown age were you when baptized. Cortez gave the women named their military and Marina was designed first to Alonso Hernández Puertocarrero, then returned a month later where Cortés. Almost immediately began working as an interpreter with Aguilar. When Cortes arrived in the Nahuatl-speaking regions, to the west by the Gulf Coast, she interpreted the Mayan and Nahuatl for Aguilar, who knew how to interpret the Mayan and Spanish. Marina rapidly expanded its language skills to learn Spanish or Castilian. He won the confidence of Cortez, became his secretary and then his beloved, and even came to give a child. A Cortés is often offered other women but he always rejected, demonstrating their respect and love for Marina. In a letter he wrote, "After God, we owe the conquest of New Spain to Doña Marina." Historians do not consider the Navy responsible for the success of the Spanish conquest. The appetite of the Spaniards for the gold, the epidemic of smallpox, and of course their military superiority were primary factors. However, their ability to serve as interpreter played a huge role. It is certain that it facilitated communication between Cortez and several indigenous leaders from the former American, who were among the key tlaxcaltecas as they were in search of allies against the Aztecs because of their brutal demands of human sacrifice and tribute. Undoubtedly the highlight of his career as a performer was the initial meeting, face to face, between Cortez and Montezuma, but also directly participated in many exchanges between the Spanish and the many people who found and tried. It is said that she actively supported the negotiations rather than bloodshed. Although some consider a traitor, many consider La Malinche Chicano preponderant a historical figure, whose disparagement and defamation of character is parallel to the current situation. She was repudiated by his people and had no loyalty to the other branches Mesoamerican. Language and used their powers to ensure their own social position. But surely there is evidence that, once they are aligned with the Spanish cause, was totally loyal to Cortes, despite the many opportunities he had to betray, as the intricate story of the conquest was unwinding. The Mexican author says Gomez de Orozco La Malinche was an instrumental part of the strategy [Spanish], by interpreting in three languages and by providing vital information on the economic organization, knowledge of native customs, the order and succession kingdoms, the forms of tax, the rules governing family relations, etc. ". After the conquest, Cortés, who already had a wife in Spain, showed his respect for Navy to arrange a marriage with Don Juan Jaramillo, a lieutenant of Castile. While Marina was just one of the indigenous women who had children of Spanish parents, is the most prominent, and the son he had with Cortés, Don Martin Cortes, was the first mixed-race and historical significance of someone who eventually took a position in government . Fue el Comendador de la Orden de San Jago. He was the Commander of the Order of St. Jago. In 1548, he was accused of conspiring against the Viceroy and later executed. Navy also had a daughter from her husband, Don Juan Jaramillo, call Doña María. As the mother of a son and a daughter of two races, with the same blood that runs through mestiza veins of most Mexicans, Doña Marina can be legitimately recognized as the mother of the Mexican nation.
